Tutor Certification

TutorCAI will evaluate applicants' credentials to determine their fitness for the role. TutorCAI would like to make sure they are fully equipped with skills to provide the needed assistance to their students. 

To qualify for tutor certification, one must- 

• be a registered member of TutorCAI,
• have a college degree (Master's or Ph.D. are an advantage but not required.),
• at least 21 years old,
• pass a criminal background check,
• be fluent in English language, and
• have adequate knowledge and skills in their supposed area of expertise (For example, a Math tutor must have a degree in Mathematics or graduate of any course with emphasis in the subject such as Engineering, Accountancy, Education, etc.)

• Copy of national ID, driver's license, or passport
• Proof of clear criminal or police background check (current)
• Copy of college or university diploma
• Copy of professional certification(s), e.g. teacher certification for teachers
